where he and william became friends. He was assigned to Williams air cover during his fatal mistake. He defected with William after the trial showed that no respect was shown for those of American decent. He Trained the fighter pilots of the Canopis Guards. He is a fun loving guy, and not very diciplined. He believes that a warrior is a skill artisan and as such needs to be himself with in reason. He has been written up many times by the Canopians for drunk and disorderly, and lack of dicipline in his units. So far during his career he has 5 kills though making him look right. his units were the most successive on St Ives. Darby feels he is invaluable. He feels that Boyington is the best fighter piolt in the Confederation. if he can just get the chance to prove it.
