MY PLACE
| Elaine's room. Very bright especially
when the blind is not drawn. I never draw my incongruous batman
curtains--not my favourite choice, you know. It was there as the room was previously
belonged to a 11 and a 13 yr old boys. I left the curtain there
My room, in comparison to my sis's, looks less cute, rather childish. One wall is full of colourful printouts of Sailormoon, Doraemon, Eva etc. On the other it has black and white sketches by me. At a corner was 2 newspaper images of Lleyton Hewitt. On the opposite wall are two gigantic posters of Frodo (looks dark.."One Ring To Rule Them All") and cool Lara Croft (too violent in the film). Next to them are my cute Leuniq calendar on which important dates, such as lib due dates (otherwise, I would be very likely to be fined), and a few Maths formulae sheets (my laziness, you know). If you attempt to venture into my room, I'm sure it is not easy to not stumble over my books, newspaper, and cd cases. "CRACK!". Under my desk is my Yr8 Pokemon Maths Project of which I am still proud of. (I didn't miss one Pokemon episode. until the Joto League). Also under my desk are past Spectrums and Wk-ender. WEll above all, my desk ranks first as the most untidy corner of my room. One dictionary in the top R corner, while two are on my left. My Discman and mobile phone are always on the verge of falling into the bin. Testers, pens, and highlighters mingle into a colourful bonfire base. Two empty glasses-cases are lying in dust. Tissues (both in box and packet) are on standby. Texts books are taking up too much space. Scrap papers and newspaper cut-outs sparsely scatter everywhere. A very messy desk. Nearly forgot to mention about my jewellery box given as a gift by a hk friend (hate him). In there, I keep my precious (not the Ring), including movie tickets, and sticker photos. My window offers a panoramic view (sorrie about the cliché), but it is true. I love the night view in which I see tiny moving light obeying the laws of Stop-At-Red-Go-At-Green. It's superb. (maybe you can come over some days and share this) I have two bedside tables. On one sits my small collections of cans and bottles. Two family photos in photo frames are in dust. On the other place my past b'day presents--a bunch of colourful handmade flowers, bottles of paper stars & "straw" stars, candles, etc. The bookshelf is very essential. Without it, my room would be completed flooded. The top shelf sits my comic. Novels and any non-fiction dominate the second. On the third are my used exercise books. Like weeds, they grow at a dramatic speed despite how many I had constantly thrown out. On the last shelf sit my the boring ones--txtbooks for school purposes. What's under my bed? ...........no, you got it wrong.( yep tykanni, I am assuming). Under my bed are my collections of boxes. (choc box, biscuit box, puzzle box, ink cartridge box etc) In several drawers of my bedside tables placed my display folders, past assignments, Yarrabee, Gameboy & Games, and junks from my childhood. Photos and diaries are also kept in there. Haha..this 'description' (a very poor one as well) is simplified and inaccurate..., but at least now, when you ever have a chance to visit me, you won't be shocked by how messy and childish it is. By the way, my changes (coins esp. 5c ) lie around. You can welcome to come for a treasure hunt. Below is a rough sketch of my room.:
