| 30 May 02 I had spent the whole night watching Swordfish..Haha an inspiraring film for hacking. Anyway...I am sick of watching ads... Oh my gosh. I can't believe the link between people. Last night, when i turned the radio on..the very FIRST word i heard was "Hong Kong". I couldn't believe it. Hardly does such an unimportant place being mentioned on the radio. Guess what? The news wasn't a good one. "The suicidal rate is on the rise". I couldn't believe my ears. What? It is caused by economic recession. Then they went on to talk about the aging population in hk and the change in the attitudes of young people in hk. These issues were all very surprising. Perhaps I really hadn't been following hk's news for a long long time. There was an interview with an elderly woman, who was speaking cantoneses. It was funny...how i was trying to understand her chinese, but being consistently interrupted by the English voive-over which was suppose to translate her words. Anyway, eventhough i havn't visited hk for nearly 2 yrs now, I still do feel a slight attachment to it...The word "suicidal" really shocked me. This week had been a happy week, provided that I got a good mark for my eng essay. About the SEBROJ comic, we have been making progress. Recently this week, i had finished the 'romantic' coffee shop scene...haha. geeze.. i must be careful not to write the wrong thing, right, Tykani? In case that you are dying of curisosity caused by my silly remarks. Hehe..only two days of school next wk. Got atheltics carnival + 2 days of excursion. Won't be updating this often. | 21 June 02 Shortest day... We got our reports this week. Some friends got really upset. Sigh sigh sigh... Mine was not as good as I would like it to be, but was acceptable. Somehow, comparing to my attitudes last year, the report did not pose as much significance. I don't value my school achievements anymore. This doesn't sound good... Anyway, I want to do other things..(haha enjoy life more). Today, my friend and I finally bought new wool. Yep, a competition is about to start here. Who's going to finish the scarf first? I planned to finish it by the end of the term break. I wonder if i will. This much had been so so so free. "Life is a miracle". Without knowing about its Christian content, i watched it last night. Another depressing one on cancer.. Oh this week had been so free! Anyone want a gift this winter? :) |
