Ha, template for diary..well whatever.I havn't written much on here even though I had finished my exams. In the first week of my holiday, I had work experience as you probably know anyway. It was hectic and I hated having to travel to 'work' everyday. Its not much work exp since there had been little I could do. Yeh well at least it was an 'experience' anyway.
THis week had been unremarkable. I finished reading The Death Of Kings and Brilliance Of The Moon. The Death of the Kings is a sequel to The Gates of Rome which is a fiction about Julius Caesar. It is interesting to see another portrayal of the characters such as Brutus involved. The representation of course does not strictly adhere to history. Additional characters were created and Julius Caeser was involved in battles which he didnt engage in in history. One criticism would probably be how un-true it is if you look at history.
Brillance Over the Moon is the third book to the Otori trilogy. It's brilliant but if you enjoy vivid battle scenes then that's its exact weakness. Each battle scene seems rushed through and you really see nothing. But anyhow, many of us just wanna find out what happened to our much-liked characters such as Takeo and Kaede. Like Death of Kings, this book is another book on power struggle, love and betrayal. Ha, just the type of books I enjoy reading.
Anyway, I ve been spending my time living in the world of warriors. Cool. Windy and cloudy today....
Yesterday we went to homebush but was cold and windy.
I have my driving test coming up..sad..oh well, there are those who pass their first but there are also those who tried twice, thrice...or even five times. I wonder which category I will fall into. I wouldn't be surprised to be in the latter.
I ran out of books now. The Great Fire is too slow for me. I consider De Vinci code but then despite its popularity it doesn't seem interesting. I don't think I should spend too much yet since my shopping spree last week. I wanna buy the dvd of Big Fish, Wendy Mattew's CD, and a big long Nemo from Kmart. But not now..and i doubted i'll buy them in the near terms.
Cold nice and quiet. ... holiday...actually I am so bored that I even consider knitting to kill time.
