My life started out a bit rough at first. It all started when my first owners put me out on the streets to fend for myself because their landlord wouldn't allow pets. GO figure!!  Then one day I got myself into a little jam, or atleast everyone else thought so. I got myself stuck under the hood of a car. Finally after about three hours, several attempts and talks of calling the fire department to get me out  someone started poking a stick at me. So I had no choice but to come out, hoping that that someone would take me home with them. But I had no such luck. Not long after that a car drove past me while I was sitting on the side of the road. Oh ya, I guess I should tell ya that my troubles started long before this, as I was born deaf. This made my outdoor adventures even more dangerous to me. The car quickly came back and picked me up. As it turned out the nice people were going to visit the neighbours of my first owners. They then found out that I was evicted from my first home and was on my own (other than the mess of fleas I had with me). So they decided to adopt me. YIPPEE!!! And I'm happy to report, no more fleas! The nice people were going out with their friends and couldn't carry me back to their place because it was to far for them to go. So they took me with them. But because they had a new car and they didn't know me enough they put me in a box. They wern't gone very long, but I didn't need much time to escape the box and fall asleep on top of it waiting for them. Anyway, they took me home with them. But my happiness was short lived as their landlord wanted me out to. So finally they had to give in and they took me to the SPCA. But they regreted so much taking me there that they tried to get me back. So after a couple days of Mom calling the SPCA and begging for me, they let me go back home with them. And that was the end of my rough patch. I am now 9 years old and still living with the same couple that rescued me. They take me for rides in the car all the time. I guess being deaf is what allows me to love it in the car so much. I also love it when they take me for a walk, they just got me a new harness. I didn't like it that much though when they got a new job (I was 2 yrs. old then) and they had to leave me home by myself allot. But I showed them my dislike for this. When they would go out I would use this time to chew on their appliance cords. They caught on to me and now they always unplug  the appliances (for my safety) and hide the cords. They also got boxes built around the cords that can't be unplugged. So I don't get to show my dislike very often anymore. They must still love me allot because just recently they built me a cat palace. That is really neat  and fun to climb, I mostly enjoy sleeping in it. I guess all the kisses I give them has paid off. If you get this far without falling asleep,
