| RELATIONSHIP,COMITMENT.. I always believed that friendship is the foundation of any relationship.Once,I remember when I said to my dad that my best friend understands me and knows why I do something and supports me.He then replied " Yes, because she has nothing to lose by supporting even your "not so good" deeds, because she is not a parent nor a husband".Maybe he is true or maybe he is not. But that made me think. Why can't I have a husband who is both a supportive friend and also a protective and possessive man like my Dad.I thought it is so rare and smiled at my thought.But kiran made my thoughts into a reality. I am lucky to fall in love with a man like him who has the right balance of Love,affection, friendship,compassion and ofcourse not to forget everyman's asset and liability, his possessiveness. This possessiveness in a man is romantic , ofcourse as long as a balance is maintained.. And I am sure it is upto both of us to maintain that balance for marriage. A sure quality of any human being which assists not only in a successful relationship but also life is his ability to see and understand or atleast explore a different perspective of things.Kiran posesses that asset and that makes me wonder, how cud I meet that skill.Maybe my smiles and love do the trick . |
THE DIAMOND ring When we both finally decided to announce our decision to live together to our parents, we were more than welcome. Sharing our love and happiness with parents was a wonderful moment. Engagement day was more of a commitment to ourselves that we might fight more than ever but also love forever. |

A HAPPY FAMILY... My mom always said marrying a person is not just marrying him but also his family. Because its all about living together as a family. I haven't thought much about it when I thought about the man of my dreams. When the man I chose has this personality that I admire, I was sure the parents who bought him up will have much better personalities that I would admire and respect. And I was true. My In-laws turned out to be the most wonderful people to know and spend time with and ours is a happy family. |
