 Box art  Released:1993 System:GB and DX on GBC STORY You succeded in stopping the evil tyrant Ganon, just like the old prophecy foretold, but the people of Hyrule are still uneasy. "Who knows which dangers await, despite Ganon being gone?" they say and shake their heads. To calm them and to prepare for the new challenges ahead for your land you go on a journey after knowledge and wisdom. After a lot of dangers and advetures you are finally standing on the ship that is supposed to take you back to Hyrule, but nature chose to end your journey. Suddenly a great wave put the ship upside down, and you started swimming to save your life. Right after you left the ship a great lightning bolt tears the ship apart. Everything went black around you. You could no longer keep your head above the surface and you start sinking towards the bottom. But down there in the abyss you hear a voice that reminds you of your homeland. It was princess Zelda's voice. "You are going to make it", the voice said. When you opened your eyes you thought you saw princess Zelda standing over you, but was it really her? No, it was a girl called Marin. She eplained that you and the debris from your ship had been washed ashore by the waves. You had been washed ashore on Koholint Island, the island which was famous for the great egg in the center of the island. According to legend the mystical Windfish was supposed to be lying inside the egg sleeping. You at once started looking for your sword and other things that might have been washed ashore. And right as you were standing there knee-deep in water an owl came flying towards you. It said something you found very strange "Wake the Windfish and all your questions will be answered." "The Windfish, who or what is that?" you wondered. And what questions was the owl talking about? Soon the most fabulous adventure you have ever been in on will begin, when you start your quest to solve the mystery on Koholint Island. Screenshots
