Twenty minutes later, Rain and I joined up with the guys in the food room, wearing entirely different outfits. Rain was wearing a white long sleeve thermal under a black t-shirt and jeans while I wore a dark blue tank top and a dark red ankle length skirt with a blue dragon on it.
  "You guys look great," Chris said. "Have some Cheetos."
  I grabbed a handful. "Thanks."
  Rosie joined us. "Okay, Lance, Ocean-will you clear that whole affair thing up on the air?"
  "Oh sure."
  We rehearsed the whole thing-the interview, how we would come out-everything. Finally the show started.
  "John, do you know who we have here today?"
  "I don't know Rosie."
  "'N Sync! And do you know who else we have here?"
  "Who?"
  "JC's and Lance's girlfriends, Rainbow and Ocean!"
  "How cool. i've never met them before."
  "I met them before the show...they're very sweet, very cute...I don't know if you all uh, saw Jay Leno last night-"
  "I did, Rosie, I did and I saw Lance apologizing to Ocean..."
  "Yeah,  a very sweet thing he did, but no one really knows what happened and there have been some rumors flying around about that and they're gonna clear that up for us today."
  "Great!"

  "So Justin-I know everyone's dying to know-do you have a girlfriend?" Rosie asked. All the girls in the audience began screaming.
  Justin shook his head. "No, I don't. You should ask Lance and JC about that though..."
  "That's right, you two have girlfriends don't you? Can I say something? I am *very* proud of you...they are so normal! Not supermodel stick thin gorgeous tall people...well, they're gorgeous, but..."
  "Oh yeah...that's exactly why we love them so much," JC said.
  "We're all really good friends and they're so much fun to be with...they help us forget about being busy and stressed out..." Joey said.
  "That's always good...now Lance, you guys were on Jay Leno last night..."
  Lance laughed. "Yeah."
  "And you made a public apology to your girlfriend."
  Lance nodded. "Yeah, and let me say something...the media blew it *way* out of proportion..."
  "Okay, what really happened?"
  "Uh, maybe Ocean should explain it..."
  "That is a great idea Lance. Is everyone ready to meet Ocean and Rainbow?"
  Rain and I looked at each other excitedly as the audience cheered. "Here we go."
  "Here they are, Ocean and Rainbow!" Rosie exclaimed.
  Rainbow walked out before me and we hugged Rosie and all the guys. JC gave Rain a little kiss as they sat down and the applause grew. Lance kissed me lightly then we sat down as well.
  "Aren't they cute?" Rosie said when the cheering died down and some guys in the back hooted.
  We all just laughed.
  "Okay, so Ocean, you're gonna explain this thing to us, right?" Rosie asked.
  I nodded. "Yeah."
  "Okay, but first we have a clip of the show for those who didn't see it last night," Rosie said. The scene from Jay Leno came on, starting from me descending from the audience.
  "Oh geez, Lance, I looked like crap," I muttered.
  "You looked wonderful," Lance whispered.
  "Don't lie to me."
  "Okay, okay okay...you look absolutely amazing," Lance grinned.
  "Shut up."
  "It's true!"
  "Whatever babe."
  The clip ended with Lance and me in midkiss as the audience cheered.
