MY HARBOUR PASSAGE WALK

Come join me on a walk along Harbour Passage, Saint John's scenic walkway along the harbour front

This is the beginning of my walk along the Passage heading east towards the uptown, running parallel to Chesley Drive

Looking to my right across the water I can see the Harbour Bridge with the City in the background

Ahead is HMCS Brunswicker - where Canadian Naval cadets are trained.

Cruise Saint John

Long wharf with the Vendor & Meet & Greet Tents set up to welcome cruise ship passengers in 2008. Eighty-three (83) cruise ships with 188,480 passengers & 75,392 crew members sailed into Saint John last year. The Port of Saint John is a major port of call for cruise ships travelling Canada/New England routes. It is the second busiest cruise port in Atlantic Canada, with the first ship arriving in port in 1989. All of the world's major cruise lines now call into the Port of Saint John each year. A new terminal is being built at Pugsley Wharf and should be ready by the time the first ship comes in on June 9th, 2009.
