| Melina, Janelle and I went to Nashville to see shun, who were playing with [minus] and school for heroes. Sunday morning, I went out to breakfast with Melina. Then we drove to Janelle's place. Melina left her car there, and we drove Janelle's to Nashville. When we got there, it was like 2:30 i think, or maybe 3, Nashville time. We met Nathan at a gas station and then followed him to his house. There we hung out in his room for a few hours being stupid and acting silly and getting tingled by Nathan's tingler. Haha. Don't ask. Around 5:20, we left to get something to eat. Then we made our way to the venue which was called the Muse. It's in a not so great part of town. It's surround by whore houses, adult bookstores, and adult XXX theaters. There are a lot of horny perverts in Nashville apparently. So when we got there. We parked around the the back and sat in the car. Billy soon came over and informed us that neither [minus] nor school for heroes were there yet. Bad news considering the show was supposed to start at 6. Billy hung out by the car for a while, and was being so silly. Janelle gave him the rest of her turkey sub with onions, and after he ate it, he was blowing his onion breath into the car. haha. That boy cracks me up. Eventually Richie, and Cris also came over to say hello. Then we decided to go to Eckerds so that Janelle could get batteries for her camera. So we left, and when we came back to the Muse, [minus] and schoool for heroes were finally there. I'm not sure what time the first band went on. I don't even know who they were. They were ok though. It was so fucking hot inside that place, that we had to keep going outside to cool off. After the first band, [minus] went on. They had a pretty good sized crowd watching them. They played Stranded, Father's Eyes, Pressurize, Half-Mile, Enemy, Light Years, and that's all i can remember. During their set, Joy, Jordan's girl showed up to surprise him and he was so happy to see her. Joy goes to UGA as well, and she and Melina were on the swim team together in high school. She's a nice girl. After [minus] was SFH. They were awesome. Adrian, Tom, and Dax were all on the actual floor instead of the stage just going the fuck off. I'd like to see them in Florida, 'cause I'm sure their fans down there just go wild when they play. They have so much energy when they move, that it just makes you want to move and rock out with them. They sounded really good. I went into the little room off to the side where they were selling merch, and Nathan was there, and I asked him if shun had merch there. He said he didn't know, but that he'd go find out. So he left. While I was there waiting, Billy came by and I asked if they had any shirts, but he said that they forgot to bring them. total bummer for me, because I wanted one SOOO badly. They better still have some when they come here in September. shun was the last band to play, and I actually took some pictures. They sounded SOOO good. Some songs they played were Second Voice, Neo, Fear of Heights, Everyone Here Is Sleeping, Difference, and Canada. Jac was just going off on the drums. I hope they never ever lose him, because they'll never find anyone who plays like him. Billy's voice sounded great, they were just wonderful as always. I think the show ended at about midnight, so we said all of our goodbyes as fast as we could and then left. It was a good show, but we were just DREADDING the ride back home 'cause we knew it was going to suck. We dropped Nathan back home, and then headed home. Janelle drove out of Nashville, and then Melina drove the rest of the way. We got to Janelle's at abour4, slept until 8, and then left in the morning to go back to school. | ||||||
