Outkast: October 18th, 2002- Stegemen Coliseum: Athens, GA
Ok so friday night i went to outkast.  I actually went by myself, because everyone else seemed to be in Atlanta that night at the Ghost show.  But it's all good because Outkast were amazing of course.  There were 6,000 people there. 6,000 people all dancing, and singing, and having fun.  It was beautiful.  These rap duo opened up the show. I totally don't remember what their name was.  but they were alright I guess.  They didn't perform for very long so that was good.  I just wanted to see Outkast right away.  When Outkast did get onstage, the room just exploded.  A ton of people from the higher seats up tried running down to the floor, but they got stopped by security guards of course. haha.  Surprisingly, Andre wasn't wearing anything weird our crazy. He just had on jeans, a black shirt, and a hat.  It was a very tame outfit for him. But of course that didn't hinder his performance. I love the fact that Outkast has a live band and those 3 back up singers.  They even had a guy playing the congo drums this time around, and that added a little extra UMP to the show.  Everyone was having so much fun.  Along with the songs Mrs. Jackson, So Fresh and So Clean, and The Whole World, they also played Rosa Parks, Elevators, Da Art Of Storytellin' (Part 1), Skew It On The Bar-B, and of course ATLiens. They had Killer Mike come out too and he did his song "Akshon (yeah)."  That was a nice litlte surprise.  Outkast  ended with B.O.B.  Wow that song sounded amazing.  The show was awesome, but i wish it had been longer.  But what can you do.  It was a fun show and I was back in my room by 10:30.
