Janelle, Melina and I got to the 40 watt at like 8:30 i think. Turns out that we had missed count the stars! They only played three songs, but still i wanted to see them. Anyways, janelle introduced me to Casey and Cas, and a little later on Crawford. Wow, those boys are complete nutcases! Cas is just on all the time, its one joke or funny line after another. He doesn't stop. And Casey is a complete riot too.
The first band we saw was the Reunion show. They're from Long Island (cause why would they be from anywhere else?). Their singer/bassplayer reminded me a little of TBS's Eddie. Ok a lot of Eddie. They were pretty good, but i could've done without some of the keyboard stuff. Next was Recover. They were better than the last time we saw them with Further in Augusta. Someone needs to stop borrowing their little sisters clothes. haha. And lastly there was Midtown. I wasn't planning on staying for them, but with Favorite being so entertaining, how could i leave. So we all actually stayed for all of their set. They were such teases cause they'd start playing other songs that we knew and then they wouldn't finish them. Then the lead singer started talking about Adam from taking back sunday and the guitar player started playing the beginning of a TBS song and Cas like runs up to the side of the stage and starts screaming 'You Better Play That Song!" haha. It was funny. Of course they didn't. Bleh. So midtown were alright i guess. There weren't as many people there as i thought there would be, but still a good crowd. The kids who were there liked them a lot and were sinigng along to all the songs and having a good time.
So the show ended and people started leaving. But not us. We stayed inside the 40 watt forever. Casey was taking polaroids of people (some are quite interesting. haha). Then we went outside and these kids from some band called west beverly wanted us to listen to their cd. They even had little walkmans, so we listened to them. they reminded me of some other band, but i couldn't think of who.
At this point, I don't know if we were planning on leaving or what. But we were outside forever talking, and Cas was telling us all these stories and the time just passed by. We must've said goodbye to them like 5 million times. haha. Then eventually Melina, Janelle and I went to her car to leave. Cas and Casey were gonna go to little Italy. so we get in the car and decide that we're gonna go to little italy too. I think it was like 1 at this point. So we drive like one street over from where we were and parked. The guys were already in Little Italy. We sat at this table right by the door, and talked and laughed some more. Those two guys are SOO fucking cool. I had so much fun. They're so damn funny and just a blast to be around. we were in little italy for awhile, and then finally decided to leave. I think i was in bed by 2:30. I really tried to get up this morning to go to history, but i just couldn't. So i just slept. Its ok though because there's no attendence policy in there, and it was the first class i've missed all semester. and if i had gone, i'd be so fucking tired now, Anyways it was a fun night, and I can't wait to hang out with the favorite boys again.
