| I will admit that this was a fun show. Wow, I actually had a great time at a Limp Bizkit show. People, including me, may talk shit about this band, but no one who sees them live can deny that they are amazing live performers. But anyway, Amy and I took Marta to Philips. We unfortunately didnt get floor tickets which sucked, so we were stuck in the seats. But we were still determined to have a good time. System of a Down went on first. Hardly anyone was paying attention to them. I felt sorry for them. I didnt know any of their songs at the time, not even Sugar, and so I wasnt really interested in seeing them. I remember just sitting there. There was this 21 year old around us who was buying drinks for all of the all the underage kids. We found out because Amy saw one of her friends from her neighborhood drinking something and she wanted to know how he got it. Always looking for a way to enhance her good time, Amy god the 21 year old to by her some drinks too. Meth and Redman came on after SOAD. They were actually fun to watch because they had everyone going. They had tons of energy and everyone was really into their performance. Amy was trying to sweet talk some security guard into letting us out onto the floor. But it didnt work. She was kinda pissed about that. After Meth and Redmans set, Limp Bizkit graced the stage. Oh my God! What a set! When the lights when out signaling the beginning of their performance, a bunch of people tried to rush the floor. Security guards caught a lot of them, but most of them were able to get through. It was cool seeing that. Limp did an outstanding job. They just went the fuck off, and blew it up! I had Three Dollar Bill Yall but didnt listen to it much. In fact, the only song I knew from it was Faith. However, I had been listening to Significant Other religiously for months, and so I knew those songs inside and out. It was a blast singing along to everything. They played all the songs I wanted to hear; Nookie, Break Stuff, Re-Arranged, Im Broke, 9 teen 90 nine, Show Me What you Got, and Faith. It was so incredible. Like I said before, those guys are full of energy when they perform. They are great live, at least they were when I saw them, and Ill tell anyone that. By the time they were playing, Amy was totally drunk. But she was in a great mood! The coolest part of the show was when Meth came out and did N 2 gether Now with Fred. Everyone was into that. I was just so into the music that I was going crazy standing up in the seats, and so was everyone else around me. Everyone in that room was totally feeling the music. Its great when the band youre seeing gives you all of themselves while theyre playing. Because in return, you, and everyone else around you, gives back tenfold. The kids in Atlanta, definitely represented. I remember Fred saying that we were better than a lot of the audiences he had seen on the Family Values tour and that was pretty cool. Limp ended with Nookie which obviously was the crowd favorite. It sounded wonderful. The show was a lot of fun and when we went to school the next day, everyone was excited to hear about our great time. | |||||
