| I was really looking forward to seeing Swift again. I shouldve seen them in January at Dormancide but unfortunately they had to cancel because Gary was sick. Melina, Cory and I had a little trouble finding the venue. We had never been to Breakers before. Its a pool hall (hence the name) where bands play occasionally. Anyway, we were on the road and got really lost. So Melina called Janelle and told her to tell Swift not to start until we got there. We eventually found Breakers. When we went inside we were happy to see Janelle sitting down with Gary. She told the guys that they couldnt start playing until her friends got there. Janelle is awesome! After Gary saw that we were there, he went to help the other guys set up. We sat down with Janelle and talked for a bit. Then we went to the stage area to see Swift. They were awesome! Gary was in a great mood, telling lots of jokes and stories. I was praying that they would play some stuff from the old album and they did. They played Titanic, Feminine, and Why. They might have played Diamond but Im not completely sure. They also played Nurse, Reset, Lovesick, The Guatemalan, Pretty Girl, What Tears are for and The Handshake. Now I have the song The Handshake, on that burned cd Janelle made for me, but I never knew what the name of it was. But now I know! Gary says that the song is about the cool secret handshake you have as a kid. He also told us that Reset was about playing video games. There was this weird blonde girl doing some head banging right up at the front of the stage. She was kinda weird and obviously drunk. I took a few pictures, while Swift was playing. I got some interesting shots of them in action. Gary was climbing all over the speakers and I thought he might jump down from them but he didnt. Anyway, they really did sound quite awesome. They were very tight and definitely on the same page. Good stuff. After they played, Cory and Melina went to the back and were talking to Gary. I was talking to Janelle near the stage when I showed her my Lovesick bracelet. Thats one of my favorite Swift songs. As a matter of fact, I asked Janelle to ask them to play it and she asked so they did. When she saw my bracelet she said, Oh we have to go show Gary. So she took my arm and we walked over to Gary. He thought my bracelet was pretty groovy. Hehe. We talked to Gary for a little while. We were discussing how awesome Krispy Kream donuts are. Gary says hes addicted to them, and swears theres like cocaine in the sugar or something. Haha. Anyway, he just had us cracking up. Really funny dude. After talking to Gary for awhile we decided to leave cause it was getting late. Cory and I bought this really cool green Swift shirt with an army tank on it. We said goodbye to Janelle and Gary and then left. Definitely a good show.I was really looking forward to seeing Swift again.
