Welcome to my homepage.

My name is Camilla Aasheim and I'm a 23 year-old Norwegian girl. I live in a small village called Vr�dal in Telemark, Norway. There are about 500 inhabitants in Vr�dal and our main source for income is tourism. In the summer our guests come to enjoy the beautiful nature and relax in friendly envirovements. In the winter most people come to go skiing. We have the worlds largest ski-lift with room for 8 people at each seat.

In my spare time I go snowboarding, go horseback riding, play beachvolleyball, collect autographs, watch a lot of movies and listen to music. I'm a trained legal secretary, and I got my education in Trondheim. I've also worked a lot with horses and I spent six months in Buckinghamshire, England in 2000 working at a small private yard. I was very happy in England, so I decided to go back this year (2002) to work six months again. This time I will work at a stud that breeds thoroughbred racehorses. I'm really looking forward to moving over there again.

This fall I will start studying at HiA (H�gskolen I Agder). I will study english and hopefully in four years time I will be a translator.

This picture of me and Frank was taken in late January 2000. Frank is a cross between thoroughbred and connemara. He is a very lovely horse and used to compete in showjumping on English National level, until they found out he was a little too big to be pony-size. I went fox-hunting with him once, and he loved it. I had real difficulties controlling him. I also competed in a Hunter Trial and a couple of showjumping contests. It was a lot of fun, and I was sorry when I had to leave him.

His owners also had three other horses. A Cleveland/thoroughbred cross, called Patrick (Blimey O'Reilly II). A grey thoroughbred gelding called Blimpers. A real challenge sometimes, but a great personality. And last but not least, the Welsh sec. D, Ivan. He was the youngster of the four and a real "happy horse". He was bouncy, but in a good way. He also had a great personality.
