Remove Blackspots from Roses: Use:1Tablespoon vegtable oil 1 tblespoon dishsoap 1 teaspoon baking soda Mix with one gallon warm water. Soray Rose bushes liberally but not while in direct sunlight. To Kill weeds in sidewalk. Pour bolining water on them (this actually burns the roots) Or pull off the tops and pour vinegar or salt onto the roots. To Preserve Fresh Herbs: Place sprigs between two paper towels and microwave them for 1 min. This drys them out without damaging them. Store them in airtight container. Rabbit Repellent: Boil red pepper, crushed garlic and water together for several. hours. Cool off,drain through cheese cloth and pour into a spray bottle. Spray your plants with this to keep rabbits from nibbling on them. |
