Chicken Breast with Bacon


SPLIT, SKIN, and BONE 6 whole chicken breasts,
using very sharp knife, or buy them prepared in this manner.
It will save you some time. Salt lightly. (Bacon will add salt)
COMBINE: 1 (8-oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
10 or 12 young green onions, chopped fine, including a great deal of the green
Form into 12 walnut-sized balls. Wrap half a chicken breast around each one.
THEN WRAP 2 slices of bacon around the chicken, covering as much of the chicken as possible.
Secure with toothpicks, wich can be removed after baking.
Bake uncovered in 350 deg. oven for 1 hour or until chicken is tender.
Serves 6. Note: This recipe may be made ahead and refridgerated until time to bake.
