APPLE CREAM PIE
INGREDIENTS
2 CUPS TART APPLES, FINELY CHOPPED
3/4 CUP SUGAR
2 TBSP. FLOUR
1 CUP SOUR CREAM
1 EGG, BEATEN WELL
1/2 TSP. VANILLA
1/8 TSP. SALT
1/3 CUP SUGAR
1 TSP. CINNAMON
1/3 CUP FLOUR
1/4 CUP BUTTER OR MARGERINE
PREPERATION
COMBINE 3/4 CUP SUGAR AND 2 TBSP. FLOUR. ADD
SOUR CREAM, EGG, VANILLA AND SALT. BEAT UNTIL
SMOOTH. aDD IN APPLES AND MIS THOROUGHLY. POUR
MIX INTO PASTRY-LINED PIE PAN AND BAKE AT 450 DEGREES
FOR 15 MINUTES. REDUCE HEAT TO 325 AND BAKE FOR 30
MINUTES MORE. REMOVE FROM OVEN. COMBINE REMAINING
INGREDIENTS, MIXING THOROUGHLY AND THEN SPRINKLE
MIX OVER PIE. RETURN TO OVEN AND BAKE AT 325 DEGREES FOR 20 MINUTES.
