Angela is a former coworker from Beatnik days and we have become really good friends. She just finished her Masters and I'm really proud of her!
Aaron is also a long-time friend. He and I, along with a handful of others I still keep in contact with, all grew up together in Durham, a smile town next to Chico, CA. Although he lives in Japan now, I know we will remain friends.

Bret is one of the handful of friends from Durham that I still keep in touch with. Although I don't see him often (even though we both live in the Bay Area), he will always remain a true friend.

Dave & Ria are former coworkers and good friends of mine. I miss them both since they left the Daily Journal, but we're still friends, they even attended my wedding in Chico.
Ed is my former boss, but unlike most bosses he is actually a great person to talk to. He certainly taught me a lot and I wouldn't have made it the 5 long years at my former job if he hadn't been there for me every time (and there were many times!) I had a question or just needed someone to vent on. He was such a great boss & cool person that we became friends and remain friends even though he no longer works at my office. He & his wife Shireesha are now parents to 2 beautiful children. Congrats!!
Erwin & Ria are also part of the Chico crew who now live in the Bay. John & I took a mini vacation to Vegas with them and had a so much fun! They're two of the sweetest people I know and definitely one of the cutest married couples!
George is also a former coworker, but from my PageNet days, who I have remained friends with. He's a great guy. I wish we could hang out more but schedules don't seem to permit it.
Janice is another good friend from Chico State. I miss her a lot because she lives in Idaho, but we have been able to remain really good friends. Congrats Janice & Josh on the birth of your new baby girl, Payton Madeleine Berning, June 16, 2005!
Julie is also a fellow Durhamite that I am lucky to have stayed good friends with. She attended my wedding and I have to say it was so good to see her! It had been far too long since we had seen each other!

Ron D. was the Best Man at our wedding. He and John go way back and are the best of friends. They both share an insane obsession with Star Wars. On Wednesday, May 18, they stood in line starting around 8 p.m. to see Episode III at 12:10 a.m.!!!! They didn't get home til about 3 a.m. The crazy boy is a perfect friend for a crazy boy like John. He also shares our obsession with saltwater tanks. The 3 of us go to a fish store in the city often to hunt out the best fish and corals for our tanks. Those outings usually leave all our wallets pretty empty. And RonRon (as I call him) is also now married. As of January '05 he and Rosalyn became Mr. & Mrs. Ron Diao!

Ryan introduced me to John while we were both at Chico State. He and his wife Wanda have a daughter, Kayla, who will turn 2 this year and she's as cute as a button. They're also expecting again! Ryan told us today that Wanda will be popping another baby out in about 5 months, probably in November.

Thajii. Ah, Thaj, what can I say about Thaj? Well, he's on crack (inside joke =) and he seems to rub his bad luck off on me because together we've been lost (countless times!), been stranded, been broke-down in his car and other peoples' cars, been drunk, had fights with G.I. Joe toys (don't ask) and way too many other embarassing things to list. The guy keeps me and everyone else on our toes!!!
