Why Semester Two Sucks
Semester two sucks big time;
This poem is going to rhyme.
Why did I decide to do it that way?
Because it’s easier is what I say.
Kind of ironic that for English,
Our first unit is poetry,
And that I am using it now,
To help and express me.
English is okay,
I thought it would be worse,
But then you never know…
That’s the end of this course verse.
Now chemistry on the other hand,
Is becoming a real pain.
Not only the course but the teacher,
Makes me feel afraid.
Then we come to marketing,
Something which seems fine,
Until we get to the details,
Then I’m totally blind.
Retailing is a small class,
A mix of elevens and twelves;
I should have taken entrepreneurship,
To my friends and family I tell.
So here I am on the second day,
Writing out this poem.
And ever since this semester started,
I feel totally alone.
I wish I were back in first semester,
With accounting and even math,
Compared to second semester,
That one was the best.
Another class was Religion,
Though some of the kids were dumb,
Yet even despite that,
The class was kind of fun.
The best was saved for last,
Media as I recall,
Our teacher was really great,
At the kid next to me I was appalled.
I really do think poetry is a great way to express oneself,
So look out for some others,
Coming off of my mind’s shelf.
