Well we finally got the snow that has been promised since about last weekend marvellous weather forcasters got it right in the end.
Here is my long range forcast with no use of satellites or supercomputers:-
- March-- Will remain cold with sunny intervals and a fair risk of snow and ice.
- April--- Warming up slightly although blustery showers and rain will make life difficult as a few fence panels will probably bite the dust.
- May--- A mix of rain and sunshine either termed unseasonally hot or cold. Any public holiday will see you on a cold rain and hailswept seafront or stuck in the sweltering traffic as everone heads for the coast for a tan.
- June--- Hottish.
- July---- Hot but with some rain if you are going out.
- August--- Warm but cooler in the evenings much higher risk or rain and wind than July.
- September--- Nice during the day but fairly chilly at night especially if you have invited friends round for an end of season barbie . By about 8 in the evening the outdoors will become a rather uninviting place to sit with your left over burgers and whats left of your second bottle of Merlot.
- October---- Getting much colder now you may even need to put the central heating on.
- November---- Risk of snow showers all through this month but mostly rain and miserable weather No chance of washing the motor and if you do it will be filthy again in a day or two due to the highways agency gritting the roads for expected snow that actually falls as rain.
- December--- A few bright days but generally cold and wet.
- January--- High risk of snow and ice.
- February --Bit like it is now.......
