Well I suppose I'd better take some time off from reading all the wonderful election literature that has landed in the porch and write an entry in this blog.

To the would be Conservative council member,  Would you care to comment on Anything ?

To the would be Liberal council member,  Would you learn how to spell desease (as in ill) ?

To the would be Uk IP/BNP council member,  Are you racist ?

I will vote, I always do. Who for is between me and myself and I. So don't knock on the door asking if you can count on my vote.

Now then several posts ago I mentioned 'minor accident damage to the wifes car'.  I have just about reached boiling point over this. Take one Pakistani taxi driver. Add one Pakistani Insurance broker. What do you get?  High blood pressure, calls that are never returned and finally an insurance policy number that doesn't exist. Eventually after calling Mr Razaak (the broker) every day for three weeks and finally going to his pathetic little office and threatening him with everything short of cartoons of Allah he gave in and gave me a number for another broker who started the ball rolling for repair. Actually it wasn't that simple, he gave me the number for another broker who then passed me on to Norwich Union Direct who after passing me around every department in the country (call time 45 minutes) finally promised that a local repairer would contact me within a few days. Still no call but at least I am getting somewhere, I think... The best part about all this? The car was parked up outside the house when this idiot ran into it. How can you fill in the accident forms? Questions like; Which direction were you travelling? Well I think I was heading towards the kitchen at the time to put the kettle on. Describe the conditions? Well the heating was on and I think we had just mopped the laminate floor. Good god how difficult is it to understand this.

Anyway I must return to devoting my time to the local elections. I'm sure the Green party are due to drop off some life changing reading material....
