I could very easily tear a strip off the weater forcasting community most days but I tend to surpress these urges quite well

Todays weather forcast from yesterday.......... snow snow snow and more snow 

Looking out of my window I see sunshine blue sky and a few scattered clouds, how the hell can multimillion pound satellite systems and computer powered forcasting be so totally useless

I could really do a better job myself looking outside the evening before and saying that the weather will not have changed much in the next 12 hours or so, simple. No need for  satellites and the like. I reckon the weather forcast is right about half the time On these occasions they probably use my approach........
