As I near the end of my Master's program, I find myself wondering what my future holds. Like everyone else in the world, I have dreams and a set of goals for that future. Those goals include continuing my education and obtaining a Doctorate in education. Once I have completed that, I intend to end my career in public education and begin teaching on the University level. I hope to bring what I have learned over the years into the classroom and teach future teachers the reality of education. I hope that by demonstrating what public education is really like, I will be able to better prepare new teachers for the classroom so that maybe these bright and eager young people will not leave the proud and powerful profession of education within 1 - 5 years. These new adult learners of education are the key to all of our futures and the future is here.
