Mark Williams set the fastest victory in a televised world ranking match with just 46 minutes to let Paul Hunter scored the second lowest total points of 16 on record book this evening. Stephen Hendry finished the last fifth round match by left Marco Fu's legions
of fans disappointed by beating the Hong Kong star 5-1. In the first two sixth round matches, Brian Morgan secured his place in the quarter-finals after a 5-2 win over fellow Essex player Stuart Bingham while Stephen Lee missed the chance of a possible maximum break prize of �10,000 during his 5-4 victory over Mark King.
