Snowmen of the World
There are just a few famous snowmen of the world. Probably the most famous is Frosty the Snowman. Frosty first came to life in the 1969 when a magic top hat was placed on his head, but has to outrun the third-rate magician (Billy DeWolfe) who lost it.  This wonderful children's fully animated movie features the voices of Jackie Vernon, and Jimmy Durante.

Helping to make Frosty famous was the very catchy song, children of all ages have enjoyed. Just click on the link below to see the words of the song.

A second famous snowman is the Abominable Snowman or Yeti , humanlike creature so named because it is associated with the perpetual snow region of the Himalayas. A figure unknown except through tracks ascribed to it and through alleged encounters, it is described as being 6 to 8 ft (1.8 to 2.4 m) tall and covered with long, dark hair. Attempts after the 1950s to verify the authenticity of its tracks (notably by Sir Edmund Hillary in 1960) have yielded no conclusive results. Most scholars dismiss the existence of the creature. A somewhat similarly described creature of W North America is known as Bigfoot or Sasquatch.  To learn more about this legend, try this link

One of Bill's favorites is the Nestea Cool Snowman. Nestea used this "pitchman" to make Nestea cool with teens. The snowman is a hip snowman that melts to the bone in hot situations and is restored only by a swig of Nestea Cool Lemonade Tea.

This particular snowman is not as well received as hoped. Click on the below link to see  why Splitplug suggests "Possible Idiot of the Moment, or just a stubbon Jerk.

Then there is our William "Snomanb" Barnes. Bill has spent his whole life enjoying the snow. Born and raised in Connecticut, Bill has become an avid fan of skiing and first adopted the handle of Snowblind, then with the help of a friend Snowman. Most recently Bill started using Snomanb because the others were already taken on MSN Game Zone. Making snow was Bill's life for more than 20 years. He is cursed each year by some of his co-workers for performing the much hated snowdance. Hooting and hollering for more snow. In Bill's opinion, you just can't have too much snow.
