Laughing and crying, sharing each other's thoughts
Sharing each other�s dreams
Friends on the Internet
Friends that will never meet.
Friends that hide behind a facade,
Afraid of getting to close,
Afraid of what could be.
Hiding behind a sheet of glass,
Afraid of what lies in wait.
Staying friends afraid of their own fate.
Then their friendship quickly turns,
They go their separate way.
As fast as it came, it is forever gone.
For they are just friends on the Internet,
Friends that will never meet.
