| April 2002 |
| These are my first attempts at sewing. I am hopeful to get better and better at it. These were done for Easter and were finished on Easter morning right before church. I had no sleep that night but feel good that I was able to do this for me and my girls. I hope to post more photo's here very soon of things I have done. |
| Jenni's dress was the first one I finished, it was the easiest. I used a pattern that I had already and some scraps, literally, to make the dress and put some cute flowers on the front. The pink lace material was just wide enough to cover the bodice. I used snaps instead of buttons on the back, much easier! |
| Sami's was harder because we did two layers with the top one sheer material. We only had two pieces of the sheer material and had to make it work. The sheer material was the hardest to work with. This is done without a zipper. We are going to put an elastic gather in the back to give it a more fitted look and put a couple of ruffles of the sheer material around the bottom. |

| My dress was easy but I had trouble with the arms and I made it too big so I am going to take the sides in and post new photo's of that. This is a combination of two,(#307 and #207), Elizabeth Lee Designs. |
