T-6 Parts Wanted
I'm currently on the lookout for the following items. Some of these parts I already have, but the parts in question are either corroded and/or damaged beyond economical repair. I have a growing pile of T-6 "junk" parts so I'm not looking to add to said pile! For the sheet metal parts, I need as nice examples as I can get, as I'm polishing my SNJ.
Also, I've recently acquired a pile of spares from a local T-6 guy (leftovers from his
restoration). E-mail what you're looking for and if I have it, I'll let you know!
Port (left) windsheild "quarter" cowl - - Got one from California Texans.
Rear instrument panel glare shield - - I've purchased an NOS rear inst. panel glare shield from Lance Aircraft Supply.
Firewall - - Got a NOS firewall from Lance Aircraft Supply.
Dishpan - - Got a good, straight dish-pan assy from California Texans.
Rear "birdcage" canopy "turtle-deck" cowl - - I've made do with my existing cowl pieces, but if you have nice / polishe-able examples, let me know.
Tailwheel cowl - - I recently acquired a "pile of parts" and included in that pile was a pair
of tailwheel opening cowls. I have one right side and two left sides so if you need a left side, I may be able to help.
Tailwheel shock strut, Bendix or Gladden - - A Bendix tailwheel strut was included in the
pile of parts mentioned above
"Mae West" wheel well fairing, LH side - Must be nice with minimal scratches and/or dents!
Misc. small cockpit trim panels - - Got these from California Texans.
