E and Butch!! Aren't they just too cute??
Just a little info on.....
and a band called EELS
A Man Called E
E was born Mark Oliver Everett on April 9th, 1963 in Virginia. He had one sister, named Elizabeth. As a teenager, E  got into trouble with drugs and the law. He dropped out of  school and worked at a gas station pumping gas. At the age of 19, E found his father dead of a heart attack. Feeling a lack of inspiration, he packed up and moved to Los Angeles to pursue his music career. By 1991, E signed on with Polydor records. The next year, he released his solo debut album titeld " A Man Called E". "Broken Toy Shop", his second album, was released in 1993. In 1995, E formed EELS with drummer Butch. Tommy, the bassist, joined the group later. The groups debut album "Beautiful Freak" was released in 1996. "Novocaine for the Soul" off that album was a international hit. After the release of"BF", Tommy left the band. E's sister Elizabeth, who was schizophrenic, committed suicide in '96. His mother was terminally ill with cancer and several of his friends had died. In 1998, EELS released "Electro-shock Blues", their second album. That album dealt with the recent tragedies in E's life. The song "electro-shock blues" was based on writings by E's sister. "Daisies of the Galaxy", the group's third album was completed just 6 months after the release of "ESB", but it wasn't released until February of 2000. In January of 2000, the EELS Orchestra 2000 tour began. It included a 6 piece band, and toured Europe, America, and Australia. The EELS released a limited ,exclusive live album titled "Oh What a Beautiful Morning" under Eworks, which is a label the EELS made to release exclusive work. There is rumor that the next album will be released sometime in September of this year. It better be true, or I will be one pissed off little girl. Also, the EELS have scheduled tour dates this summer in Japan, the UK, Belgium, and Holland.  Oh, and I almost forgot... E and his girlfriend, dentist Dr. Natasha  sumthin (not sure of last name) got married sometime over the winter holiday. I'm not positive, but I think it was somewhere between Dec. of 2000 or Jan. of 2001, which would make sense if it was over the winter holidays...duh!

O.K.... I'm just a fan, so I don't know if all that is true. I got it from lots and lots of reading. It could all be a big scam...or not. I guess I'll never really know unless I meet E (yea, in my sweatest dreams!!). Even then, I still probably wouldn't know!
