We had Thanksgiving at my grandparents' today, so I packed up Sniper and Red and brought them along.  Red had a great time playing with my grandparents' dog Heidi.  Heidi is actually from Sniper's litter, but they don't look related.  Sniper was antisocial and ignored his sister and terrorized the squirrels in their backyard.  The squirrels around my house learned long ago not to touch the ground, but Heidi apparently isn't as devoted a squirrel chaser as my boys because the squirrels were taken by surprise by Sniper.  He almost caught a couple.  After the huge Thanksgiving meal we tried to walk off some of the calories by walking the dogs to a park near my grandparents' house and letting them run offleash.  So, Thanksgiving was a great holiday for the dogs too.
