The Marine Corps has published a book
which they will send to you
"free" of charge.
The book is 8 1/2x 11,
softbound and is about 800 pages. It is set up by
year,e.g. 1969, it
starts
Jan1 - Dec31. It is called "US Marines in Viet Nam." Send them a letter
with your name, and
serial number and
request a copy(s) specifying which year(s), e.g., 1969
and
1970.
You should receive "two" books, one for each year. I
spoke with the Marine
who provided me with this info and he said it was very
detailed and we think
is came from the small unit and after action
reports
from the individual platoons. Delivery is about three weeks. The
