Lieutenant Nicholas Warr served in Vietnam as Platoon Commander in Charlie Company 1/5. His book is a true account of his service as an Officer in command of Combat Marines during the horrific battles in Hue City.
Fighting through the streets and city blocks of Hue presented tactical challenges and gut-wrenching personal challenges with equal sacrifices for the 1/5/1 Marines.
