3  Tough, combat Marines

Left to Right........
       '
Cheeks' .......this Marine was combat tough and 'bush smart'.
       '
Gregory S. Molberry'....... was 1st platoon guns 'A Gunner'.  Molberry was awarded the Bronze Star for his heroic actions during a firefight on 21 April 1969 during which Bravo lost 5 Marines Killed In Action.  His courage as a warrior and his skill with the  M60 were a lethal combination in that firefight and many others.'
       '
Charles Dean Smart'......was a great leader.  Dean really impressed me with how squared away he was, not just once in awhile but during all the time I knew him.  He just always had it together and was an Outstanding Marine.'

'You never forget the Marines who were fighting along side of  you in combat.   You remember their presence, their courage, their team effort and their will to get their brother Marines out alive.'

'The pride and respect I have for these Marines remains Semper Fidelis.'
