John Metzger is a singer/guitarist/percussionist who has performed at many venues such as the Navy Pier Beer Garden, McCormick Place, various festivals, and countless bars and restaurants. He has performed regularly at Durty Nellies in Palatine, Dick's Last Resort in Chicago, Cheeseburger in Paradise restaurants, and Lovell's of Lake Forest.
Beginning in the mid 1990's, John began performing with Dave Dwelle in the acoustic duo Scratch 'n Sniff. Since then, he has also enjoyed performing with Paul Allodi, James Wayman, Tommy Henry, Kat Parsons, Stolie, The Four Man Acoustic Band, The 45's(Marty of LIverpool Legends and Lori of Catfight), Gypsy, Jeremy Mederich(of Luster), The Pat Kelly Trio, John Devlin, Bobby Rex/Steve Wall, and Micah Walk.
An avid guitar collector with a leaning toward weird, oddball guitars from the 1960's, John continues to perform regularly in the Chicagoland area. Go to the Schedule page to find the next show!!!
