Here's an interview with a really good dis-band. It was done sometime back in '95
with vocalist Uffe.
1. WHEN AND HOW WAS DISFORNICATE FORMED?
Disfornicate was formed at the Roskilde-festival �93. The initial idea was to play heavy rock in the vein of PARADISE LOST� It flipped out after only one or two rehearsals and we started playing rawpunk instead. Tran�s was lacking a real k�ng-band so it felt quite ok.
2. HOW MANY GIGS HAVE YOU PLAYED?
About 10, at Caf� 44, Helsingborg, Finsp�ng, Kalmar, Hova + a handfull here in Tran�s.
3. YOUR OPINION ON SXE?
We are a bent-edge band we don�t give a fuck about sxe-folks as long as they don�t try to foist their narrowminded opinions on to us. Our bassist Jimpa is a vegetarian but he drinks booze. The worst fanatics should move to India if they want to free all cows, do that and keep your hands off our sausage(Hmm, I asked about sxe, not veganism/ vegetarianism� / ed)�
4. WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT VIVISECTION?
I dislike it just as much as anyone else who doesn�t make any money on it�
5. YOUR OPINION ON TODAYS HARDCORE?
It�s not our piece of the cake, that�s for someone else to eat. Rather that than all the other crap that is being produced.
6. INFLUENCES?
IRON MAIDEN is a big source for inspiration right now!! Besides that, I guess it�s G.B.H, DISCHARGE, VARUKERS and other rawpunk.
7. (DISFORNICATE): NOW WE TAKE OVER THE INTERVIEW WITH SOME QUESTIONS FOR THE EDITOR:
A: IS SK�NSKA A DIALECT OR A THROAT-DISEASE?
Depends. If it�s spoken by a cool person it can sound pretty ok. Mixed with harsh and furious rawpunk it can be a real hit (for example KONTROVERS, SNIFTER, MODERAT LIKVIDATION etc)�
B: HOW COME THAT IT�S SOLD MOST DILDOS PER CAPITA IN �STERG�TLAND? ARE ��STG�TAR� IMPOTENT, BAD LOVERS OR ARE THE WOMEN SO DAMN HORNY?
My guess is that ��stg�tar� are really lousy lovers� I�m a �v�stg�te� so this question does not apply on me� heheh! Bet �ya didn�t see that one coming, huh!
C: WHICH FEMALE-MOVEMENT IS BEST; FREDRIKA BREMER OR MOTJUCKET?
I don�t know, which one are you involved with??
