Welcome to Sarah's Page!
Nice to have you come visit! This is all an experiment so I can play with this
stuff. If you have any comments or questions, please email me; I'd love to hear
from you!
So, a little about me... For the past two years I've been a math major at a "a small Lutheran school in southern Minnesota," also known as St. Olaf College. I'm getting in touch with my Norwegian heritage, doncha know. So happens they've also got one of the best math programs at a liberal arts college in the country. Now I'm moving on to bigger, better, and more humid things, doing graduate studies in math at a school in South Carolina. While I've been down here I've seen some really neat fauna - check it out. I'm also interested in writing, Spanish, badminton, and astronomy. For fun I do a lot of reading, including science fiction. I also attempt to write the stuff, and my first published attempt will appear in issue #25 of Andromeda Spaceways Inflight Magazine. Yay!
As you can see, I don't have a lot here yet. I hope to be putting things on a few pieces at a time... For now, visit my page of links to see my favorite places on the web!
Since I've become more involved with writing fiction, I now have an Author Topic over at The Rumor Mill, an online community for speculative fiction writers. Sometimes I put writing updates there.
Also, I have a page of movie reviews, which you can view here. These have been updated as of October 21, 2006. Enjoy!
In October of 2004, I was able to attend President Bush's visit to Chanhassen, Minnesota. This page is also my first attempt to deal with pictures.
In February of 2005, I put up a page here with some snapshots of doings here on and off the Hill. I apologize in advance for the alignment of things; I'm still experimenting with this photo thing.
