She claims "Sports is no place for an educated woman" (Thespis) because Dana went to a series of exclusive all-girls schools (Dear Louise). Her father's hero was Don Quixote, and he would like Jeremy very much (Headcoach). It was from her father and six brothers that she obtained her love of sports (Dear Louise). Her brother, Kyle, was involved in a drug scandal (Kyle Whitaker has 2 Sacks). Her sister-in-law, Shelley, lost a baby due to Placenta Predia (Thespis). History: She went to a series of exclusive all-girls schools (Dear Louise) and was in the Spanish Club (Louise Revisited). She went to college with Lisa and Casey, plus worked with Casey in L.A. and Dallas before working with him on Sports Night in New York City (Intellectual Property). She was friends with Lisa, Casey's ex-wife, until Casey came between them (Intellectual Property). When she was hired by Isaac, she made him promise her he wasn't going to leave (Smoky). |

Since Sports Night Started: She dated Gordon, a U.S. Attourney, and was engaged to him until she found out he was sleeping with Sally (Napoleon's Battle Plan). He broke off the engagement six days later because he thought she wasn't mad enough at him, but was actually madder at Casey for having slept with Sally (WKoDHiB). After her magical first kiss with Casey (Special Powers), she imposed the Six-Month Dating Plan (WSWtwC), which drove Casey away from her eventually (The Cut-Man Commeth). During this time, she had to deal with the top news story that her brother, along with six other players, were being suspended from football for using Steroids (Kyle Whitaker has 2 Sacks). When he came to see her, she began to read him the riot act, then softened, saying she was his sister and was there for whatever he needed (The Reunion). She also pursued ratings guru Sam Donovan until he abandoned her (And the Crowd Goes Wild). She met a semi-creepy guy at Tony Anthony's one night, who seemed to know more than she felt comfortable with - about her and about the show's fate (La Forza del Destino). It wasn't until the network had been purchased that she learned the true identity of the mystery man - the new owner and her own personal savior (Quo Vadimus). She also had two "experiences" - Broadway (The Quality of Mercy at 29K) and church (Celebrities). |
