Snes9x 1.43 (728 K StuffIt archive)
You will need StuffIt Expander to open these files. The resulting disk images are in Disk Copy 6 compressed format (not that pesky DMG format from Mac OS X).
NetPlay
Version 1.3.9b can let networked Macintosh computers act as separate "controllers". Of course, this is pointless if you have two real controllers connected to the same machine.
NetPlay does not work with different platforms. That is, it will not connect to a Windows version on the same network.
In general, version 1.43 is probably the best way to go for compatibility.
Constrasts
Versions 1.3.9b and 1.43 are slightly different. Version 1.3.9b was formatted specifically for Mac OS 9. Version 1.43 was originally for Mac OS X, but was modified to work with Mac OS 9 (the included documentation is still for Mac OS X).
You may notice that 1.43 is an application package, another bit of weirdness from the Mac OS X world.

Why support Mac OS 9, the "Classic" operating system? It's simple: there is still a great number of people who use it! At least, until their PowerPC machines die and they have to upgrade to an Intel system. Pity them.
