24th  Sept'08       CS & President met with GM (Pers.) on courtesy sake on his assumption of new office.  We felicitated him with a flower bouquet and presented him a letter expressing our fullest support & co-operation with him in his endeavor to increase his office efficiency.

We have requested GM (Pers.) to consider early issuance of (1) local offtg. order against vacant Adhoc STS Gr.A posts, (2) Request transfer of a few ADs under put up now (3) up to date seniority lists of ADs working in Cor. Office.

18th  Sept'08       In a meeting today, Joint Forum of BSNL Unions/Associations of Executives & Non-Executives unanimously adopted resolution for immediate repatriation of BSNL Executives and Non-Executives to DOT from BSNL opposing any further move of continuing dual policies by the Govt. in BSNL. << Click here to read resolution>>

17th  Sept'08       DOT has approved the revised scale of AAO. <<Click for Order>>.

17th  Sept'08       Meeting of Joint Forum of BSNL Executives & Non-Executives took place on the issue of IPO, National roaming facility extended to SWAN & other Pvt. operators, merger of ITI with BSNL, Absorption of Gr.A officers. Further course of action would be decided very soon. GS, AGS(HQ) & CS attended the meeting.

11th  Sept'08       As DDG(Estt) is on tour, CS met with Jt. DDG(Estt) and expressed his serious dissatisfaction over the excessive delay tactics adopted in settling the 1st pay up-gradation case in r/o Com. B. B. Sharma AD, Com. Sanjay Tyagi AD, Com. Rakesh Kumar JTO and  Com. Awadhesh Sharma AD. 

                                       Similar delay is also noticed to call VC in r/o Six JTOs due for promotion to the TES Gr.B post on their passing the LDCE.

8th  Sept'08       CS and AGS(HQ) met with DDG (ADMN) and in turn CS once again requested him to settle the issue of enhancement of Brief Case rate at an early date. CS reminded about his earlier assurance to put up the issue before MC of BSNL so that an uniform rate can be decided for all.

1st pay up-gradation case in respect of Com. D.K. Kathuria ADG, Com. P.P. Narang AD, Com. D.S. Bedi AD, Sh. Bhagwan Das AD, Com. Mahavir Prasad AD and Sh. A.D. Bajaj Retd. ADG is ready for DPC. CS would be meeting DDG(Pers.) to-morrow to request him for holding DPC.

At the request of CS, Com. S. Tyagi, Org. Secretary & Com. R. Sehgal AD met with Jt. DDG(Pers) and requested once again to settle the 1st pay up-gradation case of Com. B. B. Sharma AD, Com. Sanjay Tyagi AD, Com. Rakesh Kumar JTO and  Com. Awadhesh Sharma AD, Com. R. Sehgal AD. Later, we have come to know that the related file is lying with ADG (Pers.IV) without any action on it.

CS would be meeting  with DDG(Estt) to-morrow as he was not available at that time & ADG(Pers.IV) was also absent.

4th  Sept'08      We Congratulate you all ! In the line of suggestion of SNEA(I) of Corporate Office Unit, Office Canteen is opened today in the backside building of Bharat Sanchar Bhawan. Respected CMD has inaugurated the Canteen at 1030 Hrs. <<Click for SNEA(I) letter>>

VC called for in r/o of about four Sr.ADs for considering local officiating promotion as ADG. CS is actively monitoring & pursuing the case. Com. Uma Venkatachalam, Sr.AD is accordingly apprised.

29th  August'08       On the query of some of the Comrades of Cor. Office, CS further got clarified over phone from DoPT in this regard that AIR fare is not permissible to avail relaxed LTC to travel NER for those whose head quarter & home-town is same.

28th  August'08       ACR for 1st pay up-gradation is called for from Rajasthan Circle in r/o Com. B. B. Sharma AD, Com. Sanjay Tyagi AD, Com. Rakesh Kumar JTO and from M.P. Circle for Com. Awadhesh Sharma AD.

27th  August'08       CS enquired from DOT & comes to know that CGEGIS payment in r/o Com. A.K. Gupta ACS, SNEA(I) BSNLCO & other is issued by DOT and same reached Cor. Office.

CS spoken to Under Secretary,DoPT and got clarified that AIR fare would be entitled for concerned eligible officers/officials whose home town is in N.E. Region too. The Paras (i), (ii), (iii) of the said Ministry's order dated 02.05.08 are distinctly separate and not sequentially inter-related. DDG (CA) would be apprised by CS to-morrow so that he can make best use of his office to clear any doubt from any quarters in his office so that eligible officers/officials can smoothly avail the LTC relaxed for NER.

1st  Sept'08       CS & Org. Secy. Com. S. Tyagi met DDG(Pers) in the presence of Jt. DDG(Pers) and requested to look into the matter of non-receipt of VC notification by the CVO stated to have been issued by the ADG(DPC) in r/o 58 eligible TES Gr.B officers for STS promotion at the juncture when their ACR was already called from different Circles on dated 21.08.2008. DDG(Pers) has assured to look into it.
