and hear the learned words that the scholored man would say
oh he never said much he just flashed a smile at me
and with a twinkle in his eye he would shout these words loudly

In his sharp blue suit, whistle glistenin in the sun
He held back the traffic 'til all the kids were done
OH we looked to him with honor
we looked to him with glee
as he ran in the intersection shouting these words loudly!
