My passion for quilting has become a full time job. I design my own projects, create patterns, and then use those patterns for classes that I teach at a nearby quilt shop and from my home.
I teach crazy quilting, applique, hand and machine piecing, and silk ribbon embroidery.
My favorite is crazy quilting.It gives the most freedom of expression for me. And since I am a non-conformist type of person it suits me to not have "rules" in my work.
My designing has opened doors for other things too. Since I do alot of my designing on the compuer I have learned to do site building etc. (all self taught) which has led me to another business opportunity.I will be doing some web design for a business in the area.I'm pretty excited about it.
