So. You've come to see the Sims stuff, have you?

Just so you know, because my computer is a raging dinosaur, I only play Sims 1.

I own Complete Collection, so I'm not sure which things are compatible with which expansion packs, sadly. My skills as an object maker only go so far as to make the things. So hopefully you'll find what we have here usable and useful to you...

We -may- get some Sims2 content here eventually, but as I don't have Sims2 said content will probably be guest artists and gifts, permission given by said same artists to make sure their SH and other morbid stuff has a home. I won't be able to guarantee the workability of same, as I don't have Sims2.

Also, not all the files will be available right here. As you may know Geocities has a bandwidth limitation. If I kept them all here on the website, the website would be down much of the time. To get some of this stuff you'll need to join my Yahoo!group; details follow.

This group is the companion piece to http://snarky_padre_v.geocities.com, as oftentimes those cleverly stuffed zip files exceed a webpage's limits all too soon! snarky_padre_v is the SN of the player of Father Vincent in the Silent Hill based AU roleplay Cradle of Forest, located @ http://cof_interzone.livejournal.com/profile. Memberships are still open! If you like RP, Silent Hill, or classic Sims1, com'on in... you may find something in this wicked little sanctuary you'd enjoy.

and now, on to some Sims things.

The tombstone collection

Oh, now what gloomy household doesn't need a graveyard? Fortunately, if you're tired of killing off the preset Sims townies and getting the same blah tombstones, we have this statuary to offer you to spice up your cemetery.

This all-weather, rugged cemetery art is based off of actual graveyard art from such cemeteries as -Vysherad, Prague
-Green Mountain in Montpelier, Vermont
-Oconee Hill Cemetery in Athens Georgia
-Washington Cemetery, Brooklyn NY, and Trinity in Manhattan.
And various other cemeteries our humble object maker has found pretty, in their own macabre fashion.

And did I mention that these stones are versatile? It gets so dull cloning off art objects, so you may find some of these things in other categories, and of other uses- some of these stones are sinks, some chairs, some lamps...

Well hey, if your Sim is going to get dragged out to the middle of nowhere to see its loved ones, there may as well be something there to play with!

the men don't know, but the little girls understand...

Silent Hill paintings

Oh. Great. Another kid gone jiggy with Sims Art Studio. Yes, I'm afraid so, Janet, but isn't it ni-. True. But as Silent Hill fansites close left and right, real fans of the game will be happy to see these original graphics lovingly recreated in miniature for their Sims' living rooms (or creepy abandoned buildings...) and so this painstaking labor of love to fill your world with SH paintings began. The .zip file is at the Yahoo!site. But the pic let's ya know what you'll get...
note: Think we're missing some? Got some of your own you want to see hosted? Send me your graphics to convert, or your iff files if you have made them already yourself, along with a jpg for the rubes visitors to see, and we'll add the pics and thank you for your interest right here! ♥

next up, we have...

Harry's bloodstained chair

Now, it's a bit rude of us to throw a yardsale selling Harry's old items, but then again he isn't around, and this chair -kinda- proves that. Please understand, I had no hand in Claudia's idea of killing him, but then again now that he's gone we do have this cushy chair to give you.
Cloned off the mushroom chair, so sitting on it will cause toadstools to pop up in your lot if you have Making Magic, I believe. Because I'm such a amateur object maker, people DO tend to sit on it sideways as well. Your humble narrator should point out this chair might look good in your recreations of room 302 as well. Just place it where the chair haunting usually takes place.
