A place close to where we live has this lovely waterfall with a natural pool below it.

On a trip up north I discovered snorkeling, and promptly fell in love with it. The view underwater
is spectacular and so is the sense of tranquility it gives you. Unfortunately the waters where I live
are too cold and murky.

The reefs form natural pools at low tide, and trap the fish in them. I bought one of those
disposable Kodak waterproof cameras and took some shots. They turned out a lot better than
I had expected.

A moonrise over the city across the river. Taking it gave me an idea of the luck and sense of
timing a good picture needs. I made several attempts at different times and intervals in the
space of a few days, and this is one of the few that turned out passably well.

An old van I stumbled across in Uruguay. I forgot to note the make, but talking with the owner
I found out it's from the 50s, and still going strong. I'm an aficionado of old stuff, cars and
other odd things, and I'd really love to have something like this in my yard. The cost of
caring and feeding of it is another matter.
