Hero's Of Anarchy Page 2
If you want to be Jack the Lad when it comes to Anarchy, you better read these. Howard Zinn is someone who has been writing about how fucked up the USA has been and the sinister shit they get up to all over the world. If you want more detailed and advanced information of the US politics and the truth behind it, then here is the place to look. MAJ
Anarchism and Other Essays, by Emma Goldman - Incase you thought we at snarflebarrel were being sexist, we have added a beatch to the anarchist hero's. This is a great resource and will show you the basics of the philosophy of Anarchism. Once thought of as the most dangerous woman in America, 'red' Emma analyses concepts like feminism, emancipation, race, suffrage, equality, patriotism, education, violence, birth control, sexuality, marriage etc. You know, the important issues. She is often surprising, and always courageous. Certainly, at the time she was writing - early 20th Century - her ideals were regarded as radically insane by the conservative establishment,
and she spent time in prison for suggesting women should use birth control. This is definintly someone who has stood up really strongly for anarchism and the exposure of truth by confronting many controversial issues. Major Snarfle Hausnip Marf to the Maji of Baji !
Niccolo Machiavelli - is from way back before Anarchy ever really exsisted as an ideology. However if you want to know they truth about what sinister and corrupt methods are used by governments and politics all over the world to rule their countries, heres where to find it. Written in the early 1500's by an advisor to the powerful Medici dynasty, The Prince has been the blueprint for governments and politicians for 500 years ! This book will teach you the methodology of politicians and those who run our governments and corportations. If the world presented to you by the media seems like a random series of crazy acts of clueless politicians, this book will help you to
make sense of what really goes on, and how to put it into context. Our leaders look like bumbling fools if you think they are trying to do what they said they were going to do, but if you understand what they are really doing, then they appear a lot more calculating and effecient.
Not sure if
Machiavelli deserves a Snarflebarrel award. Like has he really done anything for Anarchism? Really he was working against it and we just look at him to understand the truth of politics. Which isnt what he intended people to do. But i guess he is usefull now so that we can see whats really going on. Bleh! I dunno , i'll give him a Mini-Marf Award anyway like.
