One day, it may be fashionable for people to claim they were against the war now, 'before it was cool.'   It will be a lie, though.  The average American seems completely gung ho to see murder committed in his or her name.  These murders are cloaked in the sentimental righteousness of those who don't get to play the victim often...  Now let's see...  4000 or so Americans killed on 911.  Roughly ten times that number of equally innocent brown people murdered for the revenge of the Americans.  That's just the beginning.  This reminds me of what the occupying Nazis used to do when resistance fighters would kill SS troops:  they'd kill ten, or a hundred, or a thousand local civilians, for each Nazi killed.  This showed the Czechs, Poles, or whoever how much more valuable German lives were than theirs.  Today, only Americans and Israelis seem that arrogant, saying in as many words that their enemies are less human than they are.

God is on their side....   It's pure nonsense, of course, to imagine that the REAL god, the consciousness behind all consciousness, has somehow blessed and sanctified the current slaughter, let alone that it or he takes a side.  But it may well be that there is some warped demonic being that answers the prayers of Jews, Christians and Moslems, and whispers in their ears that only -they- have the real truth, all the others being impostors who should be killed.  It may be that this being grows stronger every time one of Its people kills in its name.  It may get stronger yet when both sides in a conflict think they are fighting for this pseudo-god...  He seems to love watching His people kill each other for Him.  Jerry Falwell, Pat Robertson, the Pope, Bush, Ashcroft, Ayatollah Khomenhi, Ariel Sharon, Osama Bin Laden, and most of the other players in this dark charade all claim to have a special relationship with this god-of-killing-for-religion,  (aka Jehovah, Lord of Armies.)  It's easy enough to dismiss it all as a lot of smoke and mirrors for the masses, but we should never discount the possibility that this demon they all worship may be real, or even if not, that they, believing it to be real, may soon carry mass murder to unprecedented numbers in the name of their ridiculous god.

A curse on their god.  I believe I have seen his face, and he's a pretender.  He's nothing but a space vampire whose ego is utterly out of control.  There's no need to be afraid of him, even if some flag-waving servant of his kills you and me for the sake of his lies.  No vampire has any control that the victim does not give over to him (or her.)  This is why prayers to this god almost always contain words like 'Thy Will be Done,' or some other daily ritual renunciation of free will.  A curse on humans who give away free will.  That's the initial crime that makes war and domination possible: where each individual renounces free will and responsibility and joins a church, a nation, an army, and offers to obey authority without question, even to the point of murdering strangers on command.  How can a person be proud of that?  Without huge numbers of people clamoring to give up free will and responsibility, there could be no armies, police, nations, or mafias as we now know them.  All it would take is for Everyone to lay claim to their humanity, and refuse to obey without a good reason, especially if taking life or threatening violence.

As others have pointed out, the 'fall from grace' came from obedience to authority, not disobedience as the servants of the vampire would have you believe.

Against one free man.

A single person who -owns- his or her own power, and does not place it in the service of these charlatans and their lies, and who accepts full responsibility for his or her actions, with no cowering or hiding behind some fake savior against the enraged judgment of some equally fake deity, and no expectation that anything is going to save one from one's own choices, that single person is a virtually unstoppable force in this world.

Though today we call those who resisted the Nazis 'resistance,'  The Nazis called them 'terrorists.'
Though we call Latin American death squads 'Death Squads,'  the dictators they served called them "Military Tribunals."

So even though Boy George,  says  'Da U.N. mus ac'  when he means to say 'The U.N. must act,'  he somehow knows all the little euphemisms that fascist dictators always use when they do what George is doing.

And somebody needs to say this:  members of the US military take an oath to uphold the US Constitution.  But the current commander in chief used unconstitutional means to get the office, and has waged war against the Bill of Rights, the rule of law, an informed electorate, and virtually every part of the US Constitution that limits his power in any way shape or form.  Those who wear a US military uniform and accept orders from George are traitors to their country and violators of their solemn oaths.  Maybe today's soldiers are completely cynical, seeking exclusively to be part of the killing, get paid, and get medals, and maybe oaths and principles and traditions mean nothing to them at all, but I for one would not like to go into battle in violation of an oath.
