ANIMAL CROSSING: NOT A BABY GAME!

My Animal Crossing catalog

Animal Crossing Ahead

The Crossing Guardian

Animal Crossing is a game which, like many other Nintendo games, has been mistaken for a little kids' game. The reason is probably laregly because the graphics are not great and have a "kiddy" look to them, and because it's rated "E". This is a terrible way of judging games! There are adults who enjoy playing Animal Crossing, and it's not for little kids. Nintendo just tries to appeal to all ages. They make their games fun, but not always too sophisticated. If you have a Gamecube, you should at least give the game a rental.

After you try renting the game and discover that it is irresistibly addictive, and decide to buy it (or if you already have it!), there are some places you should visit on the internet. Some of these include the following sites:

Animal Crossing Ahead is the best Animal Crossing site I have found. It has huge, detailed lists of the items in the game, the characters, etc. and nicely-organized, well-run forums. They have great trading forums and good policies about dealing with scammers.

The Crossing Gaurdian is Nintendo's Animal Crossing web site, set up like a magazine. It has fun minigames, information about upcoming events in the game, and even free secret codes to get extra items! The site is changed to be a new issue of the magazine every so often. This is definately a site to visit regularly if you play Animal Crossing.

For anyone who has not played Animal Crossing, but is interested, I have made a list of a few sites with reviews of the game:
