A master peice beyind compare ~ Stephen King's first novel has been claimed to be his best. Personally I don't agree ~ for me "Insomnia" would be my all time favourite book. It has everything a book could ask for plus a "Snakecharmer-like-ending".My favourite style! But Carrie is what I am discussing so back to the topic ~ Carrie is a telekenetic who has a mother who... she is very hard to describe... she's a fanatic about her religion that's for sure. She didn't want Carrie, she had been an accident. Her mother had almost killed her at birth when Carrie started playing with hairbrushes that she floated above her cot. Her father stopped her, but then he left. So Carrie was left to grow up with this ******** mother who wants Carrie dead. The story takes place in her later years, at the age of seventeen, around the time of her prom. I shall not tell you the ending because I know it will spoil a lot for you.

Thought it was great. not good as serpentina cors! Love her work - if she had not written it dere be no hp ff on the web!! how would we live!?! We love her for being the inspiration for hg/ss's!! also hg/dm's... not as good as Ocean dough! (Thankx - hawkeyes - need talk bout dis) - so yeah - loved it cos it base for ss/hg's but i think ss is a bas**** in it dough...

k - This was a BRILLIANT BOOK!! I think I've forgotten most of it though... Maggie gets scary things happening... erm..... i just remember i loved it!!
I think i'll read it again. It was really freaky first time round - second time round it's not thrilling but more interesting seeing how she drops TINY hints EVERYWHERE who the killer is - but you NEVER guess it (unless you become a thriller expert like me). But then at the very end you feel STUPID! Heh heh! 'Cos it explains it ALL!!! I think I'm using too many Caps on this. ILL LEAVE YOU GUYS ALONE NOW!!
