| ADULT SIZE: Not usually larger than 4feet. LIFE SPAN: 20+ years. DIET:Pre-killed mice, rats, chicks. SET UP: Requires a dry enviroment but with high humidity, temp 85-90F, secure, and a hide box and a large water bowl for soaking and drinking. NOTES: Fantastic docile snake of relatively small size. Sometimes go for long periods of time with out food. It is not clear why this happens. Contact a vet should the snake start to look thin. Force feeding is an option but get someone who knows how to do this and show you before attempting it yourself. |
