According to science, energy cannot be created or destroyed but simple change into different forms. If energy cannot be
created or destroyed then energy always existed and is eternal. If this is true then energy has no creator but simple exist.
Science also states that everything in existence is a form of energy. If energy is the source of all existence then energy is God.
If energy is eternal then there seems to be two explanations for the existence of the complex creations in the universe:
(1) Everything in existence is a consequence of energy because energy has attributes that lead to their creation.
(2) Energy is simply a substance and there exist a god who used energy to create the universe.
What is energy?
Everything in existence has certain unique attributes, which define them. For example, an attribute of a triangle is that the sum
of its angles is 180 degrees. There cannot exist a triangle, which does not have this attribute because if an object does not
have the sum of its angles to be 180 degrees it cannot be a triangle. Similarly energy has certain attributes that define what
it is and governs its behaviour. These attributes of energy are responsible for giving rise to the many complex forms of
energy that exist in the universe like humans. For example, an attribute of energy is that it is eternal, i.e., it cannot be
created or destroy. This attribute is responsible for many truths that we accept about our reality for example, 1+1=2.
If 1+1=3 this implies that energy was created which would contradict one of the attributes of energy.
All the laws that we know are derived from the attributes of energy. For example, E = MC^2 is an attribute of energy.
There are other attributes of energy which determines how energy transforms itself into its different forms and which gives
rise to cause and effect. As we progress, we might discover all the attributes of energy and finally fully comprehend the
universe. However, it remains to be seen whether or not the attributes of energy can be explained by one theory i.e., the
grand unifying theory.
Many might not accept this idea of god because it contradicts the many religious descriptions of god since energy is not an
infinitely good entity and it does not care about humans. They might argue that there exists a god who is responsible for
manipulating energy in order to create the earth, humans and other animals. However, energy being the creator of all that
exist offers a more plausible explanation.
